About this model & anatomical references
This forefoot study extends from the proximal end of the long pastern bone to the sole. It illustrates selected major structures; vessels, nerves, tendon sheaths, joint capsules, some ligaments and microscopic detail are omitted. The proximal limb and fetlock are outside the study.
Geometry was created for teaching and compared with the veterinary anatomy sources below. It is not a specimen scan, a diagnostic model, or a veterinary endorsement. The navicular bursa is enlarged slightly for visibility. Transparency and the optional half cutaway are viewing aids; colors help distinguish tissues.
