Before move-in
A simple start before the horse arrives.
We take time to learn about the horse, answer questions, and make sure the barn is the right fit.
- Start with an introductory phone call. Tell us about the horse, the rider’s goals, current routine, and preferred location.
- Schedule a private barn tour. Visit the recommended location, see the stalls and riding areas, and meet the people responsible for daily care.
- Confirm availability and fit. We review current openings and recommend Chadds Ford or Ridley Creek based on the horse’s needs.
- Review the care and training plan. We discuss feed, turnout, blanketing, medication, handling, and the weekly training expectation.
- Complete the paperwork. Boarding agreements, health records, emergency contacts, and care instructions are finalized before arrival.
- Coordinate move-in day. We set an arrival time and confirm what feed, tack, equipment, and personal items should come with the horse.
