About this model & anatomical references
The exterior is adapted from the horse model used in our main explorer. This adult horse study shows selected major muscles, skull and teeth. It is a simplified teaching reconstruction, not a specimen scan or diagnostic model. Individual horses vary.
The 36-tooth baseline includes 12 incisors and 24 cheek teeth. Variable canines and wolf teeth are omitted. Nerves, vessels, sinuses, the tongue and throat structures are not represented. Colors distinguish structures; the half cutaway is a viewing aid. Bone boundaries and tooth crowns are simplified.
